Often a writer creates a book and the illustrations follow. But not so with this story. As Anne sat reflecting on her daughter Jessica’s artwork, her heart was stirred and the story of Emma was born.

 

Emma was a young girl with big dreams. Dreams of one day traveling to see the world. But one bike ride changed everything. Find out how Emma accepted those changes, and how her one adventure was out of this world.

Anne Peterson is a poet, speaker and published author of: Broken: A Story of Abuse and Survival, and Real Love: Guaranteed to Last. She is also the author of six children's books, including The Crooked House, Lulu's Lunch, Sonny Follows His Heart, and a poetry series entitled Make Believe.

 

In addition to her books, Anne has published 42 Bible studies and 28 articles with Today's Christian Woman, and Better Mental Health Magazine. Her poetry is sold throughout the United States and abroad.

Jessica Peterson is a graduate of Illinois Central College with a major in Fine Art. Emma’s Wish is the first children's book she illustrated, followed by The Crooked House, and a poetry series entitled Make Believe. She also photographed the cover for Broken: A Story of Abuse and Survival.

 

Jessica loves creating surreal imagery that transports the viewer to another place. If she’s not playing with her camera, you’ll probably find her messing around with charcoal.
